We have a selective 1:1 practice in which we function as the ‘Non-Executive Director’ in a relation to a person trained to be the CEO of themself. It is a specialised form of Executive Coaching with relationships that typically continue over a number of years. We have worked with senior Private Equity, Tech, Legal and sports coaches. Our clients have also included business owners, particularly in periods of material strategic decisions.

We teach people how to become the CEOs of themselves. We develop the faculty, skills and behaviours that allow them to regularly step back and executively manage themselves, to professionalise their self-management and care. We teach this to cohorts of primarily mid to senior executives, within a single company, investor portfolio, or otherwise. We also have a focus on developing senior People talent, from rising to existing C-Suite. Much of this work is on building knowledge and capacity of finance and investing to better articulate and advocate people strategy and investments at the Board and C-Suite. 

Everyone agrees people are the greatest asset. That rarely gets translated into consistent coherent implementation of People strategies that are truly about value, not cost. People needs to be an investment theme, with a unified C-Suite and coherence across Board and management. And delivering on it requires creating and sustaining the structures, operative culture and core environment needed to outperform.   

We work with management teams and their investors to make this happen. We do so drawing on lived experience being an Investor, Board member, CFO/COO and Chief People Officer. We support all elements of the People experience during the full cycle journey. Everything we do ultimately focuses on the same thing; enabling the individual to do their best and most purposeful work, sustainably.
